Good Afternoon LAXJAM Participants, Programs, and Families,
It is that time, we are just 4 days away from our 2nd Annual Town Lax Jamboree! After the letdown of having to cancel last year's event, everyone is excited to be back in 2021! For many of these players, this will be their first opportunity to play some competitive lacrosse! We want to remind everyone that this event is strictly a town event, the goal behind LAXJAM is for kids to get playing time, coaches to get a feel for their teams before the official start of the season, and families to have some fun cheering on their kids!
All information for Saturday’s event can be found below, please make sure that you read through all the information.
1. COVID-19 GUIDELINES:
*All players, coaches, referees, and spectators are required to wear a mask when walking around the facilities. The only exception is for players when they are on the field of play (outdoor fields only). PLEASE ARRIVE AT THE FACILITY WEARING YOUR MASKS!
*When you arrive all players/coaches will go through the check-in desk and must follow the following:
-Enter the outdoor fields with a maximum of 2 spectators per player. Spectators must arrive with the player. No spectators will be allowed in the facilities without a player. All players and spectators will be stamped.
-Enter the indoor fields with a maximum of 1 spectator per player. Spectators must arrive with the player. No spectators will be allowed in the facilities without a player. All players and spectators will be stamped.
-We ask that in between games all teams and spectators exit the field immediately after their game ends. (Unless playing immediately on the same field for the next game)
-Indoor field will have all doors open to circulate air and allow for anyone exiting the building to exit out the side doors. We ask that no one enter the building through any of the side doors, only enter through the main doors near Field 1. LOOK FOR THE TENT!
FOR A COMPLETE LIST OF ALL COVID-19 PROCEDURES PLEASE VISIT THE
2. GAMEPLAY:
*All teams will play 3 games consisting of 2, 12.5-minute quarters with a running clock. *Players are not required to wear masks during their scheduled outdoor games. MASKS ARE REQUIRED OTHERWISE.
*Coaches are required to wear masks.
*We ask that players and spectators keep in mind the schedule for the day when entering and exiting the fields
Click on the SCHEDULE LINK to view the completed schedule for all teams.
3. PLAYER WAIVERS:
All players should have received a player invitation to their respective teams. When receiving the invite please complete the registration process. This registration process takes each player through the waiver process, no additional fees are charged and no payment is required. Without a completed player waiver, players will not be allowed on the field. WE DO NOT WANT TO TURN PLAYERS AWAY WHEN THEY ARRIVE.
4. VENDORS:
*
LAX.COM will be at the event with a pop-up store selling gear. They will also have Splash Sheilds for sale that go over the helmet. This works in place of a mask.
*MAVERICK LACROSSE will be at the facility showing off some of their new gear coming out, as well as raffling off a new Helmet.
*UNITED STATES AIR FORCE will be on site with some cool stuff for the kids!
*Our FOOD VENDOR recently had to cancel on us, we are working on getting someone else in but please be prepared just in case.
We look forward to hosting everyone and appreciate everyone’s patience as we navigate through an event with COVID restrictions still in play. Saturday looks to be a great day for lacrosse, mid 50’s and the sun will be shining!!!
