Girls U14 Festival Schedule
by posted 05/25/2022

Hi All,

The tier schedule was posted for the Festival.  It looks like we will play on Saturday, June 11th, sometime between the hours of 8am with the potential of the final game ending at 4pm.  The Festival is usually in 4 hour blocks with the potential to play the first and last game (lasting 4 hours) or back to back games (play for two hours).  I unfortunately won't know a more specific time until after our final game but hopefully at least knowing we will be playing sometime Saturday during the day helps.

Thanks,

Jill

Good morning,

Below is the schedule for next week, hopefully everyone has a great Memorial Day!

  • Monday, May 30th - PRACTICE at Newington Field (336 Nimble Hill Road, Newington) 4:15 pm to 5:30 pm.

  • Tuesday, May 31st - PRACTICE at Maloney Field (143 Post Road, Greenland) 4:15 pm to 5:30 pm.

  • Sunday, June 5th - GAME at Stellos Stadium (7 Stellos Drive, Nashua) at 12:30 vs Nashua-  Please arrive to the game at 11:45 am ready to play (jewelry off, uniform on "maroon" side, mouth guard in, goggles on). Please have your daughter to this game on time, we are missing a handful of girls for this game, if you have not have not already let us know your daughter will not be at this game based on the email a few weeks ago the assumption is she will be there.  This is a long drive and there are no options to "reschudule" this game this late in the Season.  If we do not have enough players this will result in a forfeit and knock the girls out of the top tier for the Festival.

As soon as the Festival Schedule has been released we will forward it along, I check the website a few times a day waiting for the release (this event is not driven by Seacoast so we are in a "wait and see" position).

Thank you,

Jill & Mike

  • Monday, May 30th - PRACTICE TIME TBD

Thank you,

Important Change About this Week-Please Read Carefully
by posted 05/21/2022

Hi Everyone-

I know there has been a little confusion over the events of this week, so I am hoping to spread some clarity.  Originally, we were going to celebrate Senior Night on Monday May 23.  HOWEVER, there has been some bussing issue, and now the senior night game will not begin until 6:45/7:00pm.  We feel that is too late for many of our families, so we are switching our support for PHS to Wednesday night the One Love Game!  So this week there is one really important date to attend (if you can attend both, great, but we really want you there on Wednesday, May 25).  The details are below:

What to expect that night: Wednesday May 25 (One Love Game)

5:10pm: Arrive (meet me at the snack shack)

5:20pm: Tunnel- our girls would bring their sticks and wear the white side of their jerseys and form a tunnel with their sticks on the field for the varsity players to run through when their names are announced.

5:30pm: Watch the Varsity game

5:45-6:00pm- Eat Pizza and Dessert

6:00pm ish- Watch our kids from 10U play a mini- game at half-time

6:15pm- feel free to watch the rest of the game or leave

I hope that you have enough time to plan to come to this event. Even if you count it as practice (I know some of you practice during this time), it is cool for all ages to see each other and how many of them are part of this amazing sport!

Please follow the link below and let us know if your daughter can come and eat some pizza with us.  We are asking you to RSVP through this link so we will know how many pizzas to order.  If you feel like you can contribute and drop off a dessert as well, that would be great.

Since we have had to switch dates, if you cannot make it, can you please go into the sign-up genius and delete your child from the list.  If you CAN make it now, and have not signed up, can you please RSVP on the link so we can make sure we have enough pizza to feed everyone.  If you feel like adding to the dessert, drop off, please feel free to do so.  We love desserts!

NOT A DROP OFF EVENT for younger kids-

I also want to be clear that this is not a drop off event for our younger kids, grades K-4.  Kids in grades K-4 need to have an adult with them at the field.  The coaches are not responsible for watching your kids.  Parents if you feel comfortable dropping your 5-8 graders off and picking them up later, you may do so.

This is going to be such a great game!  The two head coaches on each team are sisters!  PHS’s head coach is Jojo and Soueghan’s head coach is McKinley.  The JV are playing right before them varsity.  I will be there to watch this game as well.

Thanks for being so flexible!

Meg

Seacoast U14 Girls Updates
by posted 05/16/2022

Good afternoon,

We hope everyone is having a blast this Season, it has been a ton of fun to watch all of the Girls come together so well in practices and games, we can't believe the Season is coming to an end so quickly.

We wanted to cover a few things quickly.  We only have two regular season games left, one on Sunday in Hampton with a noon arrival time and one in Nashua on June 5th with an 11:45 arrival time.  If you can go over your schedule in the next day or two and please let us know by Wednesday if you will be unable to attend one or both of these games this would be very helpful.  We have had to borrow players, not field a full team or play without subs at almost every game this season and it is very difficult to do this with the warmer weather.  In addition, we do ask that everyone coming to the games arrive at the time we ask so we can warm up as a team and be ready to play.

The NHYLA Festival is the weekend of June 11th and 12th.  If you have not played in the Festival before, the schedule should be released around the end of May.  Please hold both dates open until we have a firm date/time.  Right now the team is ranked 2nd and we will need everyone there to contribute!  As soon as we have more information on a specific date and time we will pass it along.

Lastly there are two events we wanted to make you aware of, Senior Night for PHS is Monday, May 23rd.  We hope any of the Girls interested can go support the team, details are below including a signup for pizza.

Come Celebrate Senior Night!!

What to expect that night:

5:10pm: Arrive

5:20pm: Tunnel- our girls would bring their sticks, and wear the white side of their jerseys and form a tunnel with their sticks on the field for the varsity players to run through when their names are announced.

5:30pm: Watch the Varsity game

5:45-6:00pm- Eat Pizza and Dessert

6:00pm ish- Watch our kids from 10U play a mini- game at half-time

6:15pm- feel free to watch the rest of the game or leave

Please follow the link below and let us know if your daughter can come and eat some pizza with us.  We are asking you to RSVP through this link so we will know how many pizzas to order.  If you feel like you can contribute and drop off a dessert as well, that would be great.

Another Fun Event:

On Wednesday May 15 at 5:30pm at the PHS Turf, the varsity will be playing against Sougehgan HS.  They are playing to raise awareness and funds for the One Love Foundation. One Love educates young people about healthy and unhealthy relationships, empowering them to identify and avoid abuse and learn how to love better.  Attached you will see a flyer that has more details about how you can support this foundation.  It will also be fun to watch this game because Jojo (PHS’s varsity coach) is going to be coaching against her sister McKinley (who is from GSE and the varsity coach at Sougehgan HS).

Thank you!

Jill and Mike
